I am His.
Jesus called me to this ministry in Freedom Park on Independence Day in 2018. He walked beside me, and there wasn't a single thought or feeling in my mind. There was only peace and a freedom of living in the present moment with Him completely surrendered to His will. He has been guiding me every step of the way and is always with me in Spirit.
My name is Babs Hock, and I'm so thankful that God can use broken people because my life has been filled with sin, suffering, depression, and countless failures. I'm a worthy vessel because of the new spirit He gave me when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. My light is a reflection of His light, and my value comes from being His adopted child.
My brokenness shows me my need for Him. When I'm focused on the self, I experience suffering. It's only by shifting from being led by the will of the self to being spirit-led and focused on God and His will that I can experience His peace and incredible love.
I'm a Registered Nurse, and I'm currently attending a Mindfulness Studies Masters program. The focus of my research is developing mindfulness programs for Christians. Instead of mindfulness practices, I teach spirit-led practices to enliven the spirit and grow in grace.
